Job Summary

Enable the Corporate Applications, Analytics and Services(CAAS) COE acting as Project Manager under the Finance Strategy and Governance function.

Support CAAS governance regarding strategy, systems, data & reporting

enhancements across Finance, Commercial, Franchise and Operations. Provide

oversight and project management support regarding Finance business

acquisitions, implementations and upgrades. Investigate and recommend

process/system efficiencies. Responsible for Quest Diagnostics Decision Support (QDSS) New Demand management.

Responsibility Areas

Advocate the use of our enterprise systems; QDSS (Cognos),

Financials (PeopleSoft, Hyperion Planning, Essbase...) and other standardized

data sources.

Support CAAS Governance of enterprise data, process and prioritization. Provide project management in support of Finance prioritized upgrades, integrations and implementations.

Provide support to CAAS and users on data definition, policies and business rules.

Responsible for Quest Diagnostics Decision Support (QDSS) New Demand management

Collaborate within CAAS and IT to optimize the effectiveness of our enterprise systems identifying data quality initiatives and opportunities to drive growth.

Work cross-functionally to understand key requirements and information needs of CAAS/Finance,

IT and business providing support & training.

Accountabilities /Metrics

Ensure adherence to company compliance. Perform E&Y and SOX testing as requested. Develop and support deployment of key controls and SOPs for area of responsibility. Ensure

alignment with Enterprise IT strategy and Architecture.

Support implemented Governance body maintaining and enforcing prioritization criteria. Develop

documentation to support customer needs and reinforce users' understandings of the data. Assist in the training delivery and on-going support for other CAAS functions and end users.Collaborate with IT on all system/application refreshes to ensure supportability and compliance with vendor's support models.

Critical Know How and Skill - Selection Criteria

Strong Organization, Planning & Project Management skills.

Education - Bachelor of Science Finance / IT or equivalent

7-10 years of business experience in the

Finance/Systems/IT area

Knowledge of Quest Diagnostics business, its Financials,

Lab, Billing and QDSS systems & applications

Strong Customer Focus, Analytical Skills, Problem Solving. Excellent

interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively both

independently and within a team. Strong PC skills (Microsoft Access, Excel,

Word, PowerPoint) Experience in Cognos, People Soft and Hyperion

Essbase a plus
